Milo Strength and Performance is for active people who want to stay fit and healthy, young athletes beginning their physical journey, and Tactical Athletes.

WHO WE ARE

Milo Strength and Performance is owned by RK Barker. RK was a lifelong athlete across multiple sports - martial arts, soccer, basketball, American football, wrestling, sailing, rowing crew, body surfing, body boarding, and swimming. RK earned his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Kinesiology from the United States Military Academy at West Point, and earned his Master’s of Science in Exercise Science and Wellness with a concentration in Fitness and Performance from Liberty University while serving as an officer in the US Army.

After leaving the military RK entered the world of professional coaching, starting first as an Exercise Physiologist and Movement Specialist working in an out-patient orthopedic physical therapy clinic. RK then worked with two different teams in Major League Rugby as their head strength and conditioning coach before accepting a position as a contracted coach with the US Army to educate and support the physical preparation for US Army Paratroopers in the 82nd Airborne Division.

RK currently works in the tech sector adjacent to human performance, and specializes in reaching and supporting the Tactical population. RK has worked with countless people helping them reach their fitness and performance goals whatever they may be - including returning to activity and improving general health, preparing for military selection courses and competitive schools, preparation for police and fire academies, as well as how to stay fit and active while leading a busy life.

RK holds a CSCS from the National Strength and Conditioning Association in addition to his extensive education and experience. RK enjoys working out regularly, walking his dog, paddle boarding with his wife, swimming, running, long board skateboarding, and learning to golf.

Everything in Milo Strength and Performance focuses on the fundamentals - moving well, being well rounded, and staying active. Every program starts by laying your physical foundation and then building up from there - you’ll not only look and feel good - you’ll be physically capable of tackling anything that comes your way.
